Honestly Speaking

by Stina - Sagittarius

Honestly Speaking,
I don't know,
But can relate.
And here to give friendly advise
Sometimes the hardest things,
In life, to see,
are right before the eyes.
There are some things that happen
That people just can't change,
But falling in whith every category of life,
Nothing remains the same.
No one can help but cry
When watching an angel die.
But remember, an angel's death on Earth,
In Heaven, is their birth.
So, be thankful for what you have,
Learn from what you've lost,
Be proud of what you've overcome,
And don't dwell on the past's cost.

Reason for writing:

I wrote this poem for a friend of mine who killed a friend of his in an automobile accedent while driveing DRUNK. Although I could never even begin to understand the pain he will live with the rest of his life, I can relate. See, I had two verry close family members of mine die of unnatural causes almost exactly a year apart. I wish someone would have handed me some words of wisdom while I was struggling for answers to all of my why's.
