Broken hearts fall like shattered moonbeams, Nightmares can come as often as dreams. Fear can emerge from the most courageous of all, Hurtful words can make even the tallest feel small. But hold your head high and accept your role, Achieving lifes wonders is a priceless tole. If one can understand the distresses in life, Overcoming the hurtles could be fought with less strive. Become your own hero and rely upon you, Look up to yourself and others will too. Let happiness in and hatred out, Live up to your standards THAT'S WHAT LIFE IS ABOUT!!!!
Reason for writing:
I wrote this feeling because lately a lot of my friends have been having problems in their lives, with breakups, broken hearts, and terrible hurtful words making them feel terrible. I wanted to write a poem that was edgy and truthful and could help them feel good about themselves despite what others do or say. I made it rhyme becuz as a child rhyming poems were my favorites I hope anyone who reads this poem understands the motto. Because in life please yourself and don't worry about what others think you are your own person and no matter what you should always LOVE YOURSELF!!!!!!!!!
