When He Comes Home

by Heather Williams - Libra

The day he told me he was in love with me
Was the day he decided he had to go
Praying to God that he'd come home soon
And that the love he held would remain strong
Lying in bed at night I could feel him
I could feel his hands upon my back as I cried
Longing for him to be with me
I vowed that when he came home again
I wouldn't let him leave unless I was by his side
Because I feel something from him
He's my muse and my reason for even typing this
The emotions get so strong I lose them
Somewhere between my heart and my fingertips
My reason for finding reasons to stay here
