Draw Breath

by B.Waterman - Libra

Draw breath from the space that lies between two stones
A name settles in the mind
No intended words for anyone as speech sounds in different tones
A voice that was left behind

Every new face met brings a first impression as each person
Tries to reach in
Turned away from the blind eye that intends not to hurt them
And the rest lies within

What was seen as pleasure is now a casual addiction
That considers it’s choices
The truth lies to far from the tales told as fiction
No fear from the stray voices
