These Chains

I just want to scream
to bust loose and break the seams
But these chains they hold me back
they show no mercy and give no slack   
they cut deep into my skin
tearing much further within
the wounds reach my soul
and make me feel less then whole
They refuse to let me be
and are unwilling to set me free 
for they are a part of me
the part i cant let go
