Daddy, I Love You

by Jessa Touchton - Cancer

When I was three,
you'll probably disagree,
I was a perfect angel,
from my own angle.
You were my Dad,
and now I am sad.
I miss you so much,
we can't even touch.
Now that you are gone,
there's nothing I can do,
but go on with my life,
even without you.
You are now in heaven,
looking down on me,
with every step I make,
your love i'm sure to take.
I wish you could be here,
to see my sweet sixteen,
I know in my heart your with me,
but it just won't be the same.
I Love you Dad!

Reason for writing:

My dad died when I was about 4 years old, and I wrote this poem when I was about 7 or 8 maybe. I wrote it because I don't know if I ever got the chance to tell my dad I loved him, so here was my chance!
