Hammer and Nails I hear the ringing. It's bringing me back. To the breath of life. I hear the ringing. It's bringing me back. To the bridegroom waiting for His wife. I hear the ringing. It's bringing me back. From a world that is at a loss. I hear the ringing. It's bringing me back. I can almost see that precious cross. I hear the ringing. It's bringing me back. Reason for writing:
For God loved the world so that he gave His own begotten Son. That whoever believes in Him will not perish but, have everlasting life. John 3:16
really the poem is about someone that struggles with Christianity and upon hearing the ringing of the hammer hitting the nails he is brought back to God. You see each time he hears the ringing of the hammer he gets a little closer to God.
