Train telescope Sitting in my Malibu home Sipping mess from my Gucci jeweled fridge Watching my life through a train telescope The story that you don’t need to see, need to know Kill the train on the tracks before it grows I’m sitting on a leash that remains reality Watching my life through a train telescope The pictures are beautiful, brightly colored, and bold Each band sure of itself But as it turns you see the blackness The darkness that still exists In the heartfelt craze of my existence And proves my resistance To the life that sucks you in And spats you out How do you like it now? Does your stomach turn and crunch in your face You try to wash it away but it still remains Don’t you hate to say that you can’t stay So get back away Let me live my life how it will be The life that you can’t see
