Here I am... Screaming for your touch... Longing for a sweet word... Do I know you? Yes, for a moment... Here and there... When you feel like being there. Do I look like you? Yeah, I have your eyes, Your build, Even your temper. Sometimes, I seem like you... Like you would have been ... Were you more decent... Like me. I love my child... I see my child... I cry for my child... Do you...? Ever? Or do you just shrug me off? Someone you once knew? Someone you helped give life to. No big deal... Just some kid, right? Someone to say "yeah, I knew". I wish for you to be near, I long to hold you close to me, Like a father should hold his daughter. To kiss me when I'm sad and wipe my tears when I'm crying. To laugh with me when I'm silly and smile when you're proud. What happenend to that? Why did I miss out on being daddy's " little princess?" I know I'm not bad. I would make you proud. But where are you? In prison? Oh, no...escaped... Living a life of drugs and alcohol and sorrow... More important things. More important than me. I love you, Daddy. Wherever you are, I love you.
