Still I Cry Everyone has feelings None more important than the first Sometimes we feel differently Because of the way it hurts There comes times When the pain hurts too much My mind is sedated While my heart is about to burst In these moments I reach for everything I have left I hold it all inside Keeping my feelings to myself I walk around With my head held high Far from the ground Not yet touching the sky You won't be able to tell Not even when I die That under that closed lid Is a tear in my eye Still I cry
Reason for writing:
