With heart pounding, do I dare
Disturb your deep slumber
For a dream to remember?
With time ticking away, do I dare
Tangle grips with you tonight
For a dream to remember?
One too many dreams for you to handle
Dreams to remember sharpened at the point,
Dipped in a potion, held under a flame,
And shot at you in hopes of hitting some nerve.
One too many dreams that shattered the mirror
Of smoked glass, and extremely bad karma,
Time cutting your feet as you reach
Down with your hands, collecting whats left.
I can only watch as you scramble about,
Clumsily and rushed, desperate and worn,
for one need in a million pieces.
I can only watch and polish my darts
for this is my best dream to remember
in such a long time...
