On The Hour

by Dan Kleinman - Cancer

ON THE HOUR

On the hour 10,000 people died,
On this day 10 million people cried,
This is the day that the world must unite,
Against the common enemy of terrorism
We all must fight.

For it is wrong when innocent people die,
For it is wrong when lives end,
When they end for what reason and why?

So I ask of you, and all of you,
To remember those fallen buildings two,
Remember the terror the gripped the nation,
And fight back, for our lives, and our salvation.
