Today There are no Democrats No Republicans We are not black or white Financial status Has no status This dark day We are not divided Seperated We are nothing less Than Americans This dark day. Pushing out our chests Not to show our pride Not a means to flex our muscles But to open our arms And show our hearts. Now We will heal our wounded And mourn our loss and be strong Relish in the fact That all barriers break down And we are one We are Americans. The innocent The fire fighters The volunteers And the policemen We will go on in their honor And in due time They will get their justice...
