A reflection

by ILLUSION - Libra

I'm sitting here watching the news, it's such a tragedy that affects us all.
My life before this has been so sheltered, especially when it comes to war.
Nothing of this nature has ever hit this close to home.
All the families that have suffered great loss could have been my own.
I have a new appreciation for my life and my savior lord.
I've taken so many things for granted which spiritually I can no longer afford.
Judgement day is comming and all truth shall be told.
To heaven or hell? That is to be determined by your soul.
May God be with the families and friends of those,
Who are fallen and injured who may never make it home.
The shock of a nation filled with hope not dispair.
As americans work all day and all night with smoke in the air,
To find the survivors and lay to rest those who have parished.
My life and my country I now greatly cherish.
"One nation under God, indivisible, for liberty and justice for all"
With these words in my heart I serve my country proud and tall.

Reason for writing:

The great tragedy that affects us all.
