Strong Enough To Bend By: Ann M. Hampton Are you saying your love's not strong enough to bend? Are you saying you want "us" to end? Are you you want to go? If this is what you want, then just say so. I can't take it for you to lie to me. If this is what you want, let it be. I want so much for your love to bend. I want so much for "us" to remain friends. I want "us" to survive this thing called life. I want "us" to survive this thing called love. I pray that togehter we will remain Even if, at times, we need to refrain. No life's circumstance, No logical thinking involved. I need for "us" to last. Now I know you have needs too. And that if that should end, YOu'd be blue too. So let's work through it, Give it a chance, And in the end you just might find alittle romance. I don't plan for this to be Our last dance, For I don't think THis is our last chance. Be strong enough to bend with me, A real true love I think we could be, Unless there is someone else you want to see-- Just say the word. Please hold the thought of me In your arms late at night, And wake to see me in morning light Through at times will be tough, It can't be harder than without you. Please say you'll give me a chance to prove my love is true. I'll be here, though at a distance, WIll always think of you. Please say, please show me-- You love is true. Show me your love is strong enough to bend.
Reason for writing:
To love that is strong enough to bend through the difficult times...and an inspiration to those that don't bend..to give it a try....a second chance so to speak.
