Never Forget We watched in horror as man made machines took so many innocent lives The plunged into buildings taking brothers sisters husband and wives Without just cause they hurt a world and all of us had undeniable fears In the aftermath people joined together held together in unity, quieted strangers tears Let us not hold the rage and hate inside our hearts For thats what they want thats what will tear our nation apart Let us love and rebuild our lives again Because that is where peace for us as a whole begins Let us not forget those lost that day But try to heal our souls find a way
Reason for writing:
Because I want not to forget what happened, but yet to heal from a tragedy. I want the people who did this to see they did not destroy us that they only made us stronger as a nation. Peace.
