As I step out on this irregular
May morning
Crunching the grass beneath my feet
I realize your love is all around me.
This frost came on fast and strong
Unexpected, frigid, and harsh
Damaging and surface dwelling.
Like this chilling frost
It will be swift but temporary,
Disappearing with the warm 
Of day's exposing light.
