Standing on the Other Side

by Justin - Libra

Words like acid, eating up my humanity
Not able to run, not able to scream
Tears start to build up
After all the damage you've done
Hated for being different
Now my soul has unwillingly bent
Twisting the knife
Result of your racist spite
Please walk away I don't want you to see me fall apart
Let me suffer the pain of my bleeding heart because

I'm standing on the other side
Seperated by the hateful tide
Looking in your judging eyes
You have around me a tie that binds
Isolated all by myself
You don't what it's like to feel what I felt.

Reason for writing:

Today i was harrassed by a white power person for no reason at all.
