White Girl in Suburbia

by Nicole M. - Gemini

Dressed in polk a dots
And slapped with an ignorant smile
I'm just a plain white girl in suburbia
Where everything is just that same
As yesterday.
Where everything is proper
And nothing deviant ever happens.
Everyone smiles
And everything is just fine...
Just a plain white girl in suburbia
With a blank stare and no substantial experience
Just pat me on the head
and say sweet little girl
And go on with your 3 dimensional world-
Just grin at me and your preconceived notions...
You don't have an idea...
You don't know the half of it...
The truth is...
My world would sufficate you
And my mind would destroy you.
