A town without much
the bar...Lulu's
A filthy truck stop, with filthy truckers
A run-down motel consisting all of 20 rooms
And the Watkins' classiest resturaunt
Run the Family of the Backwoods.
Motoring around in a '87 van
They meanduer out, and sort of waddling
hereditary glandular problem.
Grease and food stains dabbled on their size too small t-shirts
To this day, I'm not sure whether they had a son or a daughter.
Each time I ate there, it was a little less appetizing...
The young one sitting in my booth, asking to taste everything...
The mother checking the warmth of my mashed potatoes by submerging her finger...
And their cook/grandfather seasoning a chicken fried steak with cigarette ashes.
But they play their part
And have there place in my poe-dunk town's society...
Coming back home
It seems a little different.
