You promised that you'd call me tonight You said you'd think about me all day I sat by the phone and waited Never once did it ring I checked the answering machine, nothing I canceled all plans with my friends I said I had more important things to do I blew them off to be with you But I ended up spending the night alone I looked at the clock and the hours just passed You probably werent thinking of me at all You could have just called to say hi Or tell me that you had changed plans That something came up more important than me And you'd have to reschedule another time I would have understood I could have gone out too And not spent my night waiting for you And being angry that my phone never rang I never did get your call But I waited...Birth sign: Cancer
