We all know life for you Must of been hard for you to understand Just why somebody that was supposed to love you Could hurt yo with their hands As your school friends saw once in awhile Your sweet discreetly smile But your teacher didn't know About the pain and fear you had As we start to shed our tears And knowing we didn't hear Your cries about the storm that you did fear It was like The silence before the storm No one heard your cries As the thunder kept roaring in your room For now the angels are by your side And no longer do you have to hide And no longer do you have to be afraid to open up your eyes no more For if we only knew Of all the pain you were going through We could of prevented the storm from ever raining down on you As your blue skies turned to gray and your sunshine went away You were te only one that knew If lightning can strike twice is true You were such an innocent young flower to have been raised through so many showers As the storm covered your sunshine It took away all the love that you needed so desperately to grow in As we wipe away all the tears we've cried We're so very sorry Lisa we didn't try For now we have to say our last good-bye It was like The silence before a storm No one heard your cries As the thunder kept roaring in your room For now the angels are by your side And no longer do you have to hide And no longer do you have to be scared to laugh and smile again For if we only knew Of all the pain you were going through We could of prevented the storm from ever raining down on you For now its much too late As the angels hold yur hands on your way to heavens gate If only we would of heard your cries But now we can only wonder why There was silence before the storm
