Shadowed trees
'neath a crescent moon
Dreams do flow
Through an ageless night

Songbirds that mourn
Another days passing
Take wing below
A starlit sky

There that my heart
Will call in silence
Waiting for
Distance to pass

Oceans deep
and deserts wide
All this for,
The love of you…

Crimson night
rides a cloak of dusk
Footsteps are all,
That break the silence

A journey's end
So far yet near
And angels weep
For the heavens falling

Even the stones
They call me there
Where candles light,
eyes that are so bright

Oceans deep
And deserts far
All this for
The love of you…

Mountains high
And a whispered prayer
Surrounded by
The still of the night

Deep in the distance
my heart waits
As a falling mist
Shrouds the moonlight

The journey so far,
yet all I need,
is a remembered warmth
and the love of you…
