You were supposed to protect me You should of been able to see That your little girl was in pain inside You should of not let me hide You were supposed to care You should seen the hurt and my despair You didn't see the deep wound inside my heart You didn't notice your little girls world falling apart You were supposed to know what I was going through You were supposed to save me thats all you had to do Yet you did nothing you didn't see You left it all up to me You sent me back to him all the time And you ignored all the signs And now of your life I am no longer apart Because the pain you never saw inside your little girls heart

I wrote this because sometimes parents are to blind to see the truth behind their childrens actions.
