DECEMBER NIGHT

by George Holloway - Libra

That frist in December
It is so easy to remember
That frist night I looked into
your green eyes
It was as if my soul and my life
Was awakened from a deep sleep
My soul was on fire
Lit by a candle of desire
Since that night in December
We have loved laughted and held each other tight
We said we loved each other
Since that night in December
But now there are only memories
Now that we are not together
But I will always have in my heart
The love we shared and the memories
Of that night we met in December

Reason for writing:

About a love I had and lost
