MY DAUGHTER

by George Holloway - Libra

I remember that day when your mother and I
Brought home our baby daughter
My wife and I were so proud
To have a baby daughter
As you grew into you teens
We were so proud of our daughter

Now you are a grown woman
And have a family of your own
You are still my baby daughter

Now that your mother gone
And I am alone
We don't talk or see each other
Like we should
But I know in my heart i will
Always be there for you and you for me

And as I think back
I will always remember that day
When your mother and I brought home
Our baby daughter

Reason for writing:
