Reminding Me

Butterflies and daisies gently swaying in the breeze
Reminding me of you
All of our special days
Our happy times that quickly faded away
Turning my sunny skies to gray
After you left all I saw was clouds and rain
I lied in in the sun for hours
But never felt the warmth
It was like my heart had
frozen over from all the pain
I found it hard to smile
But I eventually got the strength
I'm still alone, but I'm warm
And again my skies are sunny and bright
And I welcome them with open arms
You tried to bring me down
But it didnt work
I got through all the hurt and found
My rainbow after the storm
