""We Want You""

by Matthias L. - Capricorn

"Join us! It's not always been easy! But for sure it was fun!"

Such simple lines
Make-believe
War is no game
So I know it's not easy
And even less can be fun
And for sure I won't play

"Choose very well! Which skills do you have?"

I'd be only a pawn
Cannon fodder and at the same time
Best-used in silence
Butchery tool
To kill without thinking
Or distract when unseen

"Don't miss this great chance to take so many lives"

The only weapon I'll ever use
Is the one they call 'word'
Bullets of truth
For me to defend freedom
To penetrate their walls of illusion
Disinformation, everything that they need

"Stand tall for our values"

Then exactly what's the meaning of 'freedom'
Doesn't smell like anything they show me
And it's not what they're trying to feed me
Nursery lies sold for lunch
Cornflakes, glass of milk
			"050182-L-42412 Agent"
Orange juice
			"You're just a number"
Butter and knives
			"You have to accept"
Grease for a cut
			"No more a name"
Raw flesh murder
			"Kill for the complex"
Don't realize
			"Kill for nothing at all"
Eat and feel well

Get out of my head
			"Know we're at your side"
I need to sleep
			"Kill for your country"
Freedom of thought
"You'll be put to good use"
Freedom of speech
"Son, you can't leave us hanging"
Freedom of life
			"Can you?"
Can I?
"After all that we've done for you"
After all...
You've taken my dreams
Taken control of my life
Did all that you could

"Don't forget what we stand for"
I didn't forget
Just a slight change of name
From those who killed seven millions
To the perfect good guys

			"We want you to understand"
That I've to murder and kill
To expand the territory of a state no one needs?
To defend the rights of our kind?
Or else shut up and die?

			"We want you"
I will be nowhere
Or just try to hide
Before playing your game
I'd rather die
