Mom you've been gone for over 3 years, So let me tell you about life down here. First Dad is fine; He's still mowing lawns, And he still gets up at the crack of dawn. Chris is ten and Emily is a grown-up Eleven, They miss you and now talk alot about Heaven. Dave and I argue but have stayed together, And hopefully we can make it to forever. Now about Teresa; She's remarried ya see, She and the kids are as happy as can be. And Julia and Mary; We don't see them alot, Julia is still married but Mary is not. Now Rick and Sharon; I don't know about them, She's still in KY. I'm not sure about him. And Mark,Bub and Charlie; They're doin' okay, I see each of them just about everyday. We all still miss you and Love you so much, And of course we all still miss your touch. We'll take care of Dad; So don't worry none, Now be happy in Heaven, Your work is done. Goodbye Mom I Love you and miss you so bad, But don't worry about me cause I still have Dad.
Reason for writing:
My Mom died August 9,1998. And I have had a very hard time with it. I miss her horribly. And sometimes writing poetry about her helps me.
