Lost

by Rick Boggs - Virgo

Inside myself,
I am lost,
Can’t find myself,
This is the cost.

Where am I?
Who am I?
What’s going on?
Why am I shy?

This I don’t know,
Listen to the sound,
Of sweet music,
I can’t be found.

Listening to the music,
I hear a call,
From my heart,
It sounds so small.

I write poems,
Think about things,
This sad music,
My heart it rings.

Rings with sadness,
Rings with wonder,
If she could only see,
What is under me.

I try my hardest,
But nothing goes my way,
But that’s the question,
What can or can’t I say?

All the questions,
Wrapped in my mind,
It’s almost like,
My mind is blind.

So here I go,
With another call out there,
The one girl I miss,
Where are you, this life is unfair.

I stay silent,
Inside this place,
I miss the crystal rose,
And you’re sweet face.

That one girl,
That I saw,
After her kiss,
I stood in awe.

If you hear this,
Please answer it,
With one thing,
Your sweet kiss…

Reason for writing:

In this poem, I was asking her for another chance. I never got it. But that's not the worst part, it got worse...
