Sands In The Hourglass

by Antwan Fields - Aries

(the music to "crawling" by linkin park begins to play)

my time grows short in this godforsaken state of mind
paranoia setting in hard, upon my head
i didn't listen to the words of my friends
to my mother, what she said
i found myself but then, my walls just all fell in
(got a sense, of consequence, my actions that i shall continue to take)
i've loved this way before
but i want more
the sands in the hourglass
inside my world's in turmoil
the fear i feel is real
my body in the soil
this feeling of hopelessness cannot be here this long
constructive, destructive
everything i did from the beginning was so wrong
corruptive, i'm ready
try to find myself right then, my walls just all fell in
(got a sense, of consequence, my actions that i shall continue to take)
i've loved this way before
now i want more...
the sands in the hourglass
inside my world's in turmoil
fear i feel is real
my body's in the soil
(repeat)
the sands in the hourglass are running down
destructive(my body's in the soil)
you'll miss me when i am not around
constructive(my body's in the soil)
(finish)

Reason for writing:
