a gay man's desperation

by Antwan Fields - Aries

(the beginning music to down with the sickness by disturbed begins to play)
blown up deep in my young young life
to end up like them i won't steal
don't make me out to be something in my vein
(and then you gave it to me)
and then i see you look at me, realize
maybe i'm too young to have such a look
of disdain
(and then you gave it to me)
i stare into the mirror hoping
but then my look just scares me
the desperation scares me
i can see my insides
as i die
sit up, watch me fight all the nation
sit up, watch me fight all the nation
sit up, watch me fight all the nation
stop crying, feed me me your desperation
sit up, watch me fight all the nation
sit up watch me fight all the nation
sit up, watch me fight all the nation
the insanity rises up and catches me in its web
i think of the sickness they say lies inside me
the mentality of depravity in my mind
the deafness of the high ground of morality
the morals i used to have have all been left behind
(and when you gave it to me)
it seems the changes that you made
have all come down on your head
all come down on your head
its too late for you now
you went in the desperation
(chorus)
and then i dreamed
AND THEN I DREAMED
OF DESPERATION!!
(chorus up until last line)
i pick the gun up, place it to my head!

Reason for writing:

disturbed's down with the sickness...and my own life of lovesearching.
