serenading a stranger by moonlite

by tattooedbeatmessiah - Libra

i drink your words
like a jack and coke,
savior your emotions
like an after dinner cigarette,
i sit,
wondering,
sometimes,
have we ever met?
maybe in some gin joint,
somewhere in the nite,
maybe we sat across the bar
from each other,
too wrapped up in our own
delusions, to look further
then the drink in front of us..
hopefully,
next time,
i'll look up to
see you smile.......
but for now,
i'm satisfied getting drunk
on your words,
and
inspired by your heart....
