What Do You Do to Yourself

by Nascimento - Cancer

Is the pain worth the narcosis
Do you find pleasure in the temporary bliss?
Or si the placed weight
Bearing down to great?

Your nasctic minds turn so easily
All faith is lost in your immaterialism,
Yet you preach it like the breath of life
Of which you know not but use only to explain your strife

Does your mind stand ready to capture
Do you wait for rapture?
Do you long for that ineffable feeling
Is it like a miracle of healing?

Or is your mind and body in bondage
Do you suffer from its pillage?
Do you think our thoughts paranoid
Do we suffer from a void?

Is there something we don't perceive
Your dreams you acheive?
Then why do you lie in a hospital bed
Then why no more more thinks your head?
