Pulled Away

I remember the way you looked,

the sadness in your eyes.

I remember the way I felt,
 
all the loneliness that was inside.

The car was pulling away...and so was everything I knew.

My heart was being pulled far away from you.

I just wanted to stop everything

I just wanted to stop us from being apart

I had no control and neither did you

You couldn't stop all this loneliness in my heart

But I knew I didn't want to be away from you

I knew that things would never be the same

I knew that things were going to change.

Everytime I remember that day my eyes still tear up

Its a memory that will never fade 

its still in my mind it feels like yesterday

I wonder when the day will come when I can wake up in your

 arms
I wonder when the day will come when I can come back and be

 near your heart
