Walked Away By: Ann M. Hampton You stood near me but not close enough to touch. I wish I could have found the words to tell you, The way I feel inside, And that I still care and miss you so much. You walked away from me Like you had no feelings at all. After all that we had been through And now you just pass me in the hall. You don't show me the time of day Unless I'm of use to you, And you don't even care Now that I'm feeling blue. All I asked is that as a friend, You give me the time of day, And instead of doing that You just simply walked away.
Reason for writing:
An ex-boyfriend, now friend who walked away from me one day.
Birth sign: Pisces
