Deceiving Star

Shining bright
A deceiving star
So beautiful
Abandoned in a quilt of black velvet sky
Captivating those who happen to look upon it

Such a distant place
This lonely star
So vivid
One can almost reach out and touch it
But an extended arm will never reach such a deceiving star

For the more one tries,
The more the star recedes
