I am Thankful….#1 By: Nicholas Ingram I’m Thankful for all my opportunities, Some things are still new to me, Moving on so fast, it feels like, I’m number one in an everlasting marathon, Nothing can slow me down, I’m determined, I am thankful for my family, Still miss you grandpa, It’s so different with out you, Glad that my family supports me, I’m thankful for my happiness, Even with out that special kiss, I’m even stronger now, More than ever, Getting clever, Cuz, no one can be like Nick, And do it like he does, But I’m hangin in there, Because of my friends, They help make amends, And was always there to talk to, I OWE YOU, (you know who you are), Even though it’s calm now, I still have the same respect and friendship feelings, For that one really thoughtful person, I’m terribly sorry we haven’t been communicating, Its hurts inside every time I think about it, I still hope to see that smile in the hallway, I hope this makes you happy at least for a second, I still have that love for you, (you know what I mean Ronda), It’s just that I keep it inside, For fear of HOW PEOPLE TAKE IT, Can you help me? Cause I am most thankful of all for……, You.
