When The Glass Breaks...

by Michael Taylor - Taurus

Maybe one day i'll understand,
understand what all this pain was for...
that in the end it was worth it,
to see you walk out that door.

the door slammed,
and broke my heart of glass
but windows can be fixed,
and the feeling will pass.

Sometimes its better to let go,
to wave and say goodbye..
fake a smile,
no matter how bad you want to cry.

Its time to move on,
to bigger and better things,
life is waiting...
so, spread your wings.

Pick up the glass,
sweep it off the floor
peice it back together,
and prepare for more.

The heart is a fragile object,
and must be protected with care
a broken heart,
is sometimes heart to bare.

So, i'll say it again,
there's no need for denial.
when the door slams and the glass breaks,
try to move on, and smile.

Reason for writing:

You heart gets broken....it will happen to everyone at some point in their lives. But, no matter how bad you feel...or how bad it hurts. Life goes on...
