Around the lamp post she did stray Her tear stained cheeks to mark the day Down a block she'd never been before Her eyes wide open to explore. Children playing in tattered clothes A poor neighborhood clearly shows Starvation everywhere lines the street Not a soul does she greet. Her mind strayed from her own strife Trying to picture herself in this type of life She wipes away her tears as she departs Leaving that block with a little more heart. Life to her now seems a pleasure Living the way they do she could not measure Turning the wrong way to Block 34 Opened her eyes and a new door.Birth sign: Pisces
