serendipity

by heather - Taurus

fate and mystery, a strange misery,
shrouded in swathes of doom. are there
truly angels begging for bread in here?
when i cannot sense your light, demons fade
hope remains in spite of everything
we'd birthed into being.
a love made of porcelain.
i believe it could be our opus of fortune.
shackles of regret rust softly. heroically,
the fire is burning, taking cold
and black, deceit and hate.
the mystery of the misery behind fate.

Reason for writing:

yes honestly, the movie 'serendipity', starring john cusack, was the inspiration...hence the horribly ripped title.. :)
