What makes the element me?

A few neutron memories of life, and 
The same amount of electronic memories of hate 
As protonic memories of love. 

Bound together, 
they form the single element known as Me 
Me is very unstable, and can only be combined with 
The element known as You. 
Together they form the compound US.
