Hit by a Truck

Here is my story,
believe me it's true.
I was hit by a truck,
so now I see two.
It hit me while doing
at least 55,
I'm told I am lucky
that I'm still alive.
For ALL to go wrong
is my kind of luck,
But I'd never have thought
I'd be hit by a truck...

Reason for writing:

    the inspiration was in fact being hit by a truck in 1987
