I remembered you

I remembered you again.
And tried to imagine where u were.
But I couldnt
Because I didnt care.

I forget how i struggled
When you said goodbye.
The day you said you hated me
And left me here to cry.
I felt like i had no love,
No hope of getting out.
but you had not mercy for my heart,
And left me stuck in doubt.

You made me hate myself again,
And i know i should have just won.
But i remembered you again
And i realised what i've done.
You thought i was weak
And now i wish you could see
That, though i remembered you again
You were never part of me.
