I stood out in the cold with my arms wrapped tightly against me
While visions of you holding me tight soaked through
Missing you so much after just a few short hours
As the flames turned from green to blue.

Peering at the glowing red ashes as they were floating through the air
The moon casting upon my soul its wondrous hue
With visions of the stars being captured in your eyes
As the flames turned from green to blue.

Meanwhile my heart took up a faster pace
As the love I felt inside slowly grew
Reminding me of the unforgettable love I have to share
As the flames turned from green to blue.

After searching deep into my inner core
I realized this love I wanted to pursue
So I engraved you in my heart with the warmth of the ashes
And thought only of you and the flames turned from green to blue.
