when i was talking to you the first time
were you actually listening??
when i was speaking of how i felt
did you actually care?
when i told you how much i loved you
you didn't listen
you didn't care
you didn't think
so you released me
you let me scream
and rage at the world
and you laughed as i felt like it was all ontop of me
and i hurt inside and you fell for what you thought i was
and then you turned away and settled for inferior
and left me alone standing and searching and life passing
and then the darkness fell like a veil
and then eternal silence.
