Secret Love

by ~Ms. Sarah~ - Cancer

We have to sneak around, keep things quiet
Our love will never be accepted or understood
They all look down on us
Not even giving us a chance to prove this is real
Your mother hates me and my parents will never approve
Its not right to go behind their backs
But how can I suppress my feelings
I cant turn off my heart
It does what it wants, feels what it feels
It aches when Im not around you
It longs to feel your heart beating next to mine
They all sit and judge us
Never knowing what its like to walk in our shoes
To have such a yearning for another
That you'd rather be dead than without them
They have to realize were happy
This is what we want and they should support us
But no matter the consequences
I'll find a way to be with you
