That unknown tear
that falls all alone.
from all of the stresses
and fears so unknown.

that unknown tear
that you wish they would see
and know that youre helpless
and as lonely as me

that unknown tear
so raw and so deep,
the kind that are shed
when the rest are asleep

that unknown tear,
that silent cry
that is always ignored
when the others pass by

that unknown tear
that comes from the heart
when your world is just slowing
or when you fall apart

with no one to help
and no one to hear
in the shadow of anguish
and that unknown tear
