Love's Forgotten Wilderness

by Charlie - Aquarius

At mountainside by Patrick's well
The sap of love was bled
To lie on life's sharp rock
And bury in the bog
Love's marrow to the bone

From love's forgotten wilderness
Come blades of sharp despair
To pierce my frozen form
As shoreless tides of words
Lap round my frame of death
To banish to the bone

Love's shady growth of words
And smash the clay of hope
Beneath the leafblown trees
And tear the frigid sun
From sleep's dry future
Birth sign: Aquarius
