MEN

by NATALIE - Cancer

Men in my life, There are many
Some want friendship, Others only sex
Younger, Older, A few just right.
Educated, Dedicated, No commitment for most
To love them, To leave them
I must admit, Two have stayed a night.
To choose I could not do, My time is precious
Summary I will give, Of the many men
Simple it is not, Here I shed a little light.

A young man, barely of age
A face of beauty, A body of grace
To him I am a conquest, To me a friend.
Another of maturity, With the favor of wealth
A heart of gold, And love of children
I enjoy the time, But there is an end.
The third truly has my attention, To him I give my all
Not ready for commitment, But many special gifts
Uncertain our destiny, His heart may never mend.

One is dear to me, He knows my soul
Together we are one, Lust is not a factor
He is genuine, In him a friend I have found.
A man I have never meant, Acquantences we share
Knowing my friends, The one he is not
Nevertheless I will try, I am not forever bound.
The last but not least, He is recent
No Gods can compare, I know of no mold
When he is near, The world makes no sound.

You see my delima, The men in my life
So many to choose from, A choice not easily made
One is good, Another bad, I do not know.
Where will he be tomorrow, will this one stay
Pros and cons, Hopes and dreams
I am uncertain, There will be rain, sun and snow.
If there is an answer, Or just an idea
I hope they figure it out, As I do not have the strength
To win my heart is not easy, But to the ONE my love will show.
